Fair Housing and Consumer Notices
Updated 2026-11-01
About MoveMatched
MoveMatched is an independent home matching and information service. It is not a mortgage lender, and it does not represent you in a transaction.
MoveMatched does not list homes for sale or rent. The agent you choose to work with is an independent licensee who represents you under their own brokerage.
Equal housing opportunity
We follow federal, New Jersey, New York State and New York City fair housing and anti-discrimination laws. We do not steer anyone toward or away from any town, and every town page uses the same wording. Read our Fair Housing Statement for the protected classes and how to report discrimination.
New York anti-discrimination notice
New York requires real estate licensees to give you the state's housing and anti-discrimination notice. You can read it here:
- New York State Housing and Anti-Discrimination Disclosure Form (DOS-2156)
- New York State Disclosure Form for Buyer and Seller (agency disclosure, DOS-1736)
You can check any New York real estate license with the official license search.
New Jersey consumer notice
New Jersey licensees must give you the Consumer Information Statement on New Jersey Real Estate Relationships before they discuss your needs. It explains the ways an agent can work with you, such as buyer's agent, seller's agent, disclosed dual agent, designated agent or transaction broker.
You can check any New Jersey real estate license with the official license search.
Mortgage information and lender ads
MoveMatched is not a mortgage lender or mortgage broker. We do not take loan applications, arrange loans or make credit decisions. Rates and loan limits on this site are published averages and official figures, not offers.
Lender ads are paid, flat monthly advertising. They are always labeled, show the lender's NMLS ID, and are not recommendations. You can check any lender or loan officer on NMLS Consumer Access.
